Pricing and Release Date For New 10 inch Aspire One
Pricing and availability is now known for the new 10″ Acer Aspire One Netbook. In short, relatively cheap and only in Europe, respectively.
Acer recently announced their entry into the 10″ form factor, and now information about where to get it and how much it’ll cost you is starting to trickle down.
Starting in February (in France), the Acer Aspire One D150-0B will be out there for about 329 Euros or $425. This netbook comes with the standard Atom N270/1GB RAM/160GB HDD package to go along with a 3-cell battery. In March they’ll release the D150-1B, which is basically (that is to say, exactly) the 0B with a 6-cell battery that should get you the promised 7 hours of life. This model will cost a little extra, at 349 Euros or $450. Also in March the D150-2BG will come out with a few new features, like the new 1.66GHz N280 as well as integrated broadband. The 2BG costs a little more, of course, so be prepared to shell out 449 Euros or $575 for the better parts.
If you’re looking to purchase around here, well, there’s no word yet on when this product is hitting stateside, but Liliputing has reported that you can preorder what they think is the high end model from PC Corner of the Phillipines for about $550.
