Hewlett Packard Pavilion ze2000 Notebook
Are you just back from your holidays and strapped for cash, but desperate to replace the ailing notebook fossil you’ve had since 1997? Well Hewlett Packard have just released the Pavilion ze2000, a cheap laptop with a pinpoint XGA 15 inch display and a 40GB hard drive, for under 800 dollars. Not bad, but what else do you get for your hard earned moolah? Well the 6.5 pound silver chassis of the HP Pavilion ze2000 is packed with a DVD/CD-ROM RW Drive, and a multiformat flash memory-card reader.
You also get three useful USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, VGA and S-video outputs, and an Expansion Port 2 Connector, enabling you to attach an external disk drive. The specifications of this notebook won’t set the gaming world alight, but with a tolerable battery life of over two hours, and an affordable price, the HP Ze2000 may well be worth a look.
